Support An Olympian
All the athletic skill and work ethic in the world won’t get an athlete an Olympic medal. It’s support – provided by coaches, trainers, friends and family, and community – that allows an athlete to push beyond the mediocre and reach the upper levels of sport.
I am eternally thankful to God who has blessed me with this talent and I know I would not be in this position if it were not for Him. I am also eternally thankful to "Team Bujold"....all the people, who over the years have helped and continue to support me in my journey.
The qualification period for the 2012 Olympics is now underway. Over the next year I will undergo the selection process to be named to the National Team. Following that, I will be traveling the globe with my fellow National Team Members in an effort to secure Canada 1 of 12 allocated spots for 2012. My goal is not only to make this team but to be in a position to bring home a medal for Canada in London.
An Olympic campaign is a very expensive venture and truly a team effort. No medal is won by only the athlete themselves and I definitely could not do this on my own. My team’s support is essential and very valuable to me. Your donation counts......big or small!
